News of the week: Week 28-2021:
1) Red - 11 common home workout mistakes to fix – to avoid injury and get better results – by Morgan Fargo
Making mistakes is an inevitable part of working out at home. Even though gyms are now open, many of us are sticking with our more flexible routine of getting it done in the living room or garden - but unfortunately, this could mean we're more likely to keep repeating the same home workout errors.
2) Daily Mail: Is there any diet pill that can help you lose weight safely? - Jo Waters
A drug that can safely aid rapid weight loss and keep it off sounds too good to be true. Yet apparently it exists. Saxenda (generic name, liraglutide) was originally developed as a drug for diabetes but has been shown to reduce body weight by, on average, 7.5 per cent in under nine months.
Given that one third of the UK population is now ‘obese’ (it was 5 per cent in the 1970s), the drug looks like it might be a useful way to help tackle the nation’s growing waistline.
3) Mens Health - 7 Diet Hacks to Take Your Exercise Game Further Korin Miller
