Welcome back to the Slim Society Show! Today we are discussing SLIMMING WORLD on this podcast. Two nutritionists (Connor Rhodes & Lynne Robertson from Slim Society) discuss the ins-and-outs... the good, the bad AND the ugly, of SW, the UK's most popular diet program.
At Slim Society MOST of our members are ex S.W members so we have A LOT of experience helping people who've been through their program. Lynne herself was also a Slimming World member and eventually a SW consultant, so we have ALL aspects and perspectives covered.
We chat about: How the program works, why it DOESN'T work for everyone, why is it so popular, what are the successes and what are the struggles?
We discuss; free foods, syns, weight-watchers, weekly weigh-ins, the circle of shame, mashing up bananas, how the program has changed over time, why soe people don't find success and much much more.
We also talk about what people complain about with regards to Slimming World and I myself (Connor Rhodes) chat about what the SW program looks like from a professional nutritionists perspective. How does it stack up when the rubber meets the road?
